6. Customer Responsibilities

Access to electricity and water when reasonably required for the agreed work
Information about previous waterproofing or repair treatments
Information about known structural, plumbing, drainage, or moisture-related problems
Customers should also remove or protect valuable personal belongings from areas where work will be performed.
7. Existing Structural and Building Conditions
Waterproofing treatment can help prevent or reduce water penetration, dampness, leakage, and related problems. However, waterproofing may not resolve underlying structural, plumbing, drainage, settlement, or construction defects unless those issues are specifically included in the agreed scope.
If additional structural or building defects are discovered during work, EBCS may recommend additional repair or corrective work.
8. Materials and Products
EBCS may use construction chemicals, waterproofing products, protective coatings, primers, sealants, membranes, or other materials appropriate for the approved project.
Product selection may depend on site conditions and technical requirements.
Product brands, specifications, availability, or equivalent materials may change depending on market availability and project requirements. Any significant substitution will be discussed with the customer where appropriate.
9. Project Schedule
EBCS will make reasonable efforts to complete projects within the agreed timeframe.
However, project schedules may be affected by:
Heavy rain or adverse weather
Site access problems
Material availability
Additional repair requirements
Structural or surface conditions
Customer-requested changes
Unforeseen site conditions
Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Therefore, completion dates may be adjusted when necessary.
10. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be communicated and agreed upon before or during project confirmation.
Depending on the project, EBCS may require an advance payment before purchasing materials or commencing work.
Additional work outside the original scope may require additional payment.
The customer is responsible for making payments according to the agreed payment schedule.
11. Warranty
Where a project includes a warranty, the warranty period, conditions, exclusions, and coverage will be specified in the relevant quotation, work order, agreement, invoice, or warranty document.
A warranty may not cover problems caused by:
Structural movement or failure
Plumbing leaks
Drainage problems
New construction damage
Physical damage after completion
Improper modification or drilling
Natural disasters or extreme weather
Failure to maintain the treated area
Problems outside the agreed treatment area
Work performed or modified by another contractor
Warranty coverage is subject to the specific terms agreed for each project.
12. Limitation of Liability
EBCS will make reasonable efforts to provide professional services according to the agreed scope and applicable project requirements.
However, EBCS shall not be responsible for losses or damage resulting from circumstances outside the agreed scope of work, including pre-existing structural defects, concealed conditions, plumbing failures, drainage problems, unauthorized modifications, or actions of third parties.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude or limit any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
13. Cancellation or Modification of Work
Customers should notify EBCS as soon as possible if they wish to cancel, postpone, or modify a confirmed project.
Cancellation or modification may result in charges for materials already purchased, labour already performed, transportation, site preparation, or other costs reasonably incurred for the project.
Specific cancellation terms may be included in the project quotation or agreement.
14. Photography and Project Documentation
EBCS may document completed or ongoing projects through photographs or videos for quality control, project records, case studies, portfolio development, or marketing purposes.
Where identifiable personal information or private customer areas are involved, appropriate permission will be sought where required.
